ABOUT GPG FOUNDATION
The Directors and Officers of GPG Foundation are a diverse group of people, who have lost a child and/or have a child with special needs who have come together for the sole purpose of showing support to other parents in the same situations. We will support any parent regardless of religion, national origin, race, sex, age, marital status, handicap, circumstance of child's death or special need.

We do not judge or condemn anyone for any reason.

OUR MISSION
GPG Foundation has two purposes.
Our first mission is to raise awareness of a parent's grief process after the loss of a child.
Our second mission is to raise awareness and educate the public about special needs in children. This will be carried out on www.OurSpecialGifts.org.

In the movies, when someone dies, family and friends are there for you. They bring food, they take care of things around the house, they are there for you.

In real life, it doesn't always happen that way, especially when it's a child who dies. Most people do not know how to act, what to say or what to do.

We want to change all of that. We want to make sure people have the knowledge of things they should and shouldn't do. The parents who lost a child are going through too much to try and explain the pain inflicted by hurtful actions.

We can show support to families who have lost a child even when others think the grieving process should be finished.

OUR HISTORY
"All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be."
-Psalm 139:16

God's Precious Gifts Foundation was founded by Erin (Emm) Mangum and was registered with the State of Oklahoma on July 11, 2002 as a non-profit organization.

It first started out as a small operation to provide pregnancy tests, food, formula, clothes, diapers, other essential items and helped find other resources and agencies for families with infants and young children.

Numerous families were helped in a small office in SW OKC from 2002 to 2004. At that time, the decision was made to change the mission and do something no one else was doing... Raising awareness of grief issues on behalf of bereaved parents.

OUR FUTURE
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
-Jeremiah 29:11

We are currently in the middle of changing the foundation's name and completely redesigning the website.

Once we accumulate the funds, we will apply for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Our other plans are to design pamphlets and distribute them to grieving parents, hospitals, funeral homes and out to the public. Please consider making a donation to help us achieve our goal.

We are in beginning phases of our next endeavor of raising awareness and educating the public about special needs in children. For more information visit www.OurSpecialGifts.org.

To verify our registration with the State of Oklahoma, click here and type in Life's Circle Foundation or God's Precious Gifts Foundation.

Although we are registerd with the State of Oklahoma as a non-profit organization, we have not yet acquired 501(c)(3) status, so donations are not tax-deductible at this time. All donations will help God's Precious Gifts Foundation reach out to bereaved parents and help educate their families on support issues.
